Sausage Cheese Balls
Makes a good breakfast treat, or a heavy hors d'oeuvre at a
party
Ingredients
- 1 lbs. breakfast sausage (I like Bass Farm hot best)
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 2 cups biscuit mix (House Autry is great)
- 3 Tbsp buttermilk or milk
Directions
- Mix all the ingredients together by hand
- Roll into 1.5" balls and place on a backing sheet a couple
of inches apart
- Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes
- Once the tray comes out of the oven, immediately remove the
sausage balls and place on paper towels to drain any oil
